Last time I wrote about Galaxy S6, that we got for little testing. Today we got the Edge edition of Samsung Galaxy S6 – G925F / Black Sapphire. This cool new device is going to replace our testing device Galaxy Note 4, see the full list here.
It looks and feels like very modern device, but I personally do not like the curved screen… for me, the screen looks and feels very cool, but when using, it feels awkward. See the photos with Galaxy S6 non-edge side by side, and judge by yourself. Also, screen turn-off animation is ugly.
Also, notice last two photos – first device we were given with a dead pixel on the OLED screen. Actually, a quite big dead pixel or group of the dead pixels. We are not sure, if the pixels are actually dead, or it is something under the glass, some dust, or something failed during the manufacturing. Anyway, our mobile operator (LMT) replaced it with another one right away.
Also, nice thing is – we got wireless charger as a present, again.
We just got hands on a brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 G920 with 32GB of RAM and it comes in Black Sapphire color. It features 5.1″ OLED screen and runs Android OS v5.0.2 (Lollipop). Also, we got a Samsung Wireless charger (Pad Type / Qi Standard) for free. Photo gallery below.
We just got another device — Motorola Power Pack Micro (Dark Canvas edition) with a 1500 mAh of capacity. It is directly plugable into your Android device, and is somewhat compromise between size / weight and power capacity.
Also, it features some tracking features…
Never run out of Power. Never lose your phone or keys again.
Charge any micro USB-powered device and get backup when you need it. Use built-in Motorola Keylink to find your misplaced phone or keys anywhere up to 30 meters from where you are… Motorola
